Autumn is beautiful! A last marigold from my garden!

Update:  10/17/2013

Hi everyone!

Sorry I've been gone so long!  I have been busy painting for a show. If I make it through the first jury cut, I will do a HAPPY DANCE! Which would be a miracle in itself! I've been under the weather alot lately. I'm hoping that will change soon. Hope everyone is doing well! Hopefully I be back here really soon!

Hello all!

I've added my poem and a picture of T'ger. I miss her! But, she was very sick the last two weeks I had her, and she was ready to go. She's waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge with my other furbabies from the past. She will forever remain in my heart!

It is the first day of Summer here and in the mid 80F's here. My flowers have bloomed and I have my vegggie garden planted. My bean pole teepee is up and planted. Now I can rest.

My Furbabies from Heaven

Silently the heater comes on, as the cold breeze wafts past me,
from the window, in my chair with my cats. Their warmth and love are a comfort on a cold blustry night. Like small bits of a good spirit, they find the sore spots to warm or lick. Until they think I feel better. I think they could be God's angels on earth.
If it weren't for hairball's on my chair or my socks gone missing.
One totters bravely from one thing to the next...she is T'ger, and she is close to being 17 yrs. While Cinder that great big warm black hockey puck in my lap, is going to be 12 yrs. These my two helpers have made my life a little better, and little brighter.

T'ger RIP 2/15/2013

Hello all!

I've added a new painting to my front page for everyone to enjoy. This painting is from a photo from my friend Gilly. I belong to the art website, JWJonline.com, and we used this as a painting project. I really enjoy the projects, and challenges that we have on that forum.

The Spring has sprung! The weather has finally warmed, and I have bought my pink fushia hanging basket to hang over the front door. I guess it's time to get out and look to planting my veggie garden too. My peonys, and my Iris are ready to bloom. My bleeding hearts are covered with blooms, so are my lilac bushes!

Enjoy my friends! Here in MI, Spring does not last long!Blink

Pat, I am relatively new to the Forum. Browsing thru your website. Your talent impresses me, watercolour and photography, esp the glow in morning glories. Tx
